Hi All

Thought I'd let you know I have finally been able to get to work back in Lowestoft after 18 months in Cambridge. I also now have an OHS referral that says it would be beneficial for me to be near family support. I was about a month away from a nervous breakdown (so I didn't post much) and was constantly fatigued.

Although I didn't fancy the role I was put in, I am actually doing pretty well. The job is intense and has a lot more responsibility than my last role but my colleagues and manager are really supportive.

My health is much better even if it isn't perfect and I've returned to my lovely gym with my lovely friends.

I'm looking for a house to buy (currently in with Mum) and am hoping the public sector cuts don't mean I will lose my job. Whatever happens though, I know I am back around people I love.

So good to be home and well(ish)

Thanks All!

More good news, I've found a house and all going through now. Not in Oulton Broad I'm afraid but still Lowestoft area. Hopefully will be in by November

Hi All

An awful lot has changed. I took the risk of buying a house even though I faced redundancy. I am in my house and am loving it.

Even better news is that after the stress of not knowing whether I would have a job role after Christmas and numerous selection/preference exercises I have been given a job role! Even better, although I work to Sheffield I am based in Lowestoft. My boss is great and seems understanding (although I haven't had to be off sick yet) and I am learning my new job role.

It's been a hard and stressful slog, with associated pain and flare ups of course but I can try to settle into my new life now and hopefully won't be quite so poorly now the stress has reduced.

Thanks for your support and care as usual!
